Answers to your questions
How do Hydratis tablets work to hydrate the body?
Rehydration fluids contain a precise dosage of minerals, sodium and glucose to allow rapid assimilation of fluids and thus rehydrate the body quickly and effectively while compensating for electrolyte loss. It is this physiological principle that has significantly reduced infant mortality in many developing countries.
What is the shelf life of Hydratis once prepared?
Once the pellet is dissolved in water, we advise you to throw away the solution after 24 hours.
How does Hydratis differ from regular energy drinks?
Hydratis is higher and more varied in electrolytes with 5 minerals (sodium, potassium, magnesium, manganese, chloride, zinc) and lower in sugar (less than 1% for a glass of water). Standard energy drinks are usually high in sugar (6-8%) and contain little or no electrolytes.
How much Hydratis should I take for sport or exercise?
The dose varies according to the intensity and duration of the sport or exercise. To maintain good hydration, the loss of fluids and electrolytes must be compensated for and the amount lost should be replenished. We advise you to put 2 tablets in a 500 ml water bottle and repeat as often as necessary. It is recommended to drink every 15 to 20 minutes during exercise.
Can Hydratis be taken after drinking alcohol?
Yes, drinking alcohol causes dehydration. For example, the headache that results when you wake up is a dehydration of the brain. We advise you to take 2 tablets in a glass of water before going to bed, to be repeated when you wake up.
Can Hydratis be taken on a daily basis ?
Yes, Hydratis can help you prevent slight dehydration linked to daily life, especially during physical effort or in hot and dry environments (such as in air-conditioned offices or in the summer) and also when you forget to drink enough during the day. A good hydration will allow you to be in better shape.
